Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were fairly large by Japanese standards, but I had to open the windows for fresh air. The location was great, near the snow slopes and restaurants, but the food was not appealing, so I had to dine elsewhere. The beds were too hard for me, and the bathrooms were small although they had nice instant hot water. The staff had limited English skills, which made communication a bit challenging.
The hotel's rooms look a lot shabbier than the photos, but once inside, they are fantastic - very spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The ground-level room and bathroom were convenient, but the size was a bit on the small side.
The hotel's location is fantastic, right opposite the Kitanomine gondola, and offers a cozy atmosphere for families. The rooms are spacious compared to other Hokkaido hotels I have visited, though not the largest. The dining experience is superb, catering to both Japanese and Western tastes. However, some language barriers with staff could be noted. Overall, a great value for money stay with wonderful amenities and activities for all guests.
